  • Ashley Tisdale: Best Bikini Body In Hollywood?

Ashley Tisdale recently Tweeted a picture of her in a bikini on the beach. Pretty standard behavior for a former Disney star. But this particularly cheeky photo was featured on sites ranging from TMZ to Huffington Post and has stirred everyone into a frenzy, for obvious reason. Until today most of us didn’t really think of Tisdale as a major Hollywood bombshell, well that certainly changed.

  • Turks and Caicos, Anyone?

If you are a cube dweller in need of a long weekend vacation? Turks and Caicos is the place to be.  Jetsetter has an awesome hotel deal at the Alexandra Resort & Spa that you should jump on. For only $235 a night you can skip stones on the crystal clear teal ocean from the comfort of you five-star beachfront suite’s balcony. I just looked up flights on Kayak from New York City to Turks and Caicos and they start at $319 round trip. The $319 flight departs NYC on a Sunday but if you’d like to depart on a Thursday and come back on a Sunday expect to pay about $400 round trip, still a great deal.  I’ve pulled together 17 incredible high resolution photos of what you can expect to see while there to entice you even more. If you decided to pull the trigger check out this Lonely Planet guide for fun things to do when you’re there, from snorkeling with sea turtles to island hopping on a catamaran, they’ve got you covered.

  • Scott Gerber Discusses How He Will Fix Young America [Video]

Time to highlight a local guy making big moves on a national scale. Hoboken’s own Scott Gerber, founder of the Young Entrepreneur Council, went on Attack of the Show to to discuss his Fix Young America movement, which works to raise awareness for the younger generation on overcoming unemployment and underemployment. The guy killed the interview, identifying a major problem and offering up realistic solutions. Scott is a star on the rise and we expect big things from him int he coming years.

  • The Black Keys & Snoop Dogg To Headline Catalpa Festival in NYC

With Electric Zoo and Governor’s Ball coming back for another year and Bamboozle getting back to it’s roots with an all-star lineup down the shore it makes you wonder if there is there room for another summer music festival in New York City. My vote is yes and here is why. The inaugural two-day Catalpa Festival taking place on Randall’s Island, July 28th + 29th 2012. The producers of the event say, “we strive to provide not only the very best of the basic elements but also to create a visual and aesthetic overload that further enhances this already stunning setting by developing thought provoking art installations, bespoke event structures and enough unique elements to transform people out of the city and into a world more fantastic.” Sounds like East-coast Coachella, which I am all for! To continue the Coachella East theme The Black Keys and Snoop Dogg, who will be playing Doggy Style in it’s entirety, are headlining along with an impressive mixed line-up that is sure to please. Early bird tickets are on sale no for only $99.00, a steal so pick them up before they are gone.
