The Killers, The Black Keys and Jack White to Headline Firefly Music Festival in Delaware

We are entering a golden age for music festivals. This year there are incredible weekend long events popping off up and down the east coast, several within only an hour or two drive of New York City. Just today Firefly Music Festival at The Woodlands of Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware was announced and it might be the biggest and baddest of them all, that is, if you are an rock music fan. Not only are favorites The Killers, The Black Keys and Jack White headlining but the supporting acts including Death Cab, Flaming Lips, Passion Pit, Young The Giant, AWOLNATION, Grouplove, Cults, Imagine Dragons and several others are leading the ongoing alt-rock revolution. Early bird tickets for the three day festival are on sale now for $178 and camping is allowed so if you’re interested get on it now

Firefly Music Festival is hitting the East Coast for its inaugural year on July 20, 21 and 22 in Dover, Delaware. The festival will take place at The Woodlands of Dover International Speedway, located in close proximity to Philadelphia, New York City, Washington D.C. and Baltimore.

Headliners include The Killers, The Black Keys and Jack White alongside more than 40 national acts, including Death Cab for Cutie, John Legend and The Flaming Lips. Additionally, Firefly offers a wide variety of interactive attractions including enhanced culinary options, craft beer and wine gardens, hot air balloon rides and more. The Woodlands of Dover International Speedway provides a picturesque wooded setting for the four stages of entertainment.

Firefly is partnering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s through their Music Gives to St. Jude Kids program. Festival attendees can support the lifesaving work of St. Jude on-site and leading up to the event. Music Gives to St. Jude Kids is excited to work with such a great partner. The local Dover communities will also see benefits from Firefly with economic impact projected to reach into the millions and with “Illuminate Dover,” a program Firefly is funding to beautify and enhance the community.
