Who needs a $7000 camera in the photo pit when you have a fully capable cell phone? That was my mentality when I went to Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield to shoot pictures of Foster The People. There were a dozen or so other photographers shooting with wickedly expensive DSLRs and then me, armed with an HTC Radar from Windows Phone. People looked at me kinda funny but I had Mobile Swag, and as you’ll see from the pictures and video below I did just fine with my 5 megapixel beast. The sold-out crowd was rocking their faces off and if you ever have a chance to see Foster The People check them out.
