Atten-shun, New Yorkers! This will not be as spectacular as her flyover on top of her 747 mothership, but it will be a great view for all of you: NASA’s Space Shuttle Enterprise is going around New York right now!
Enterprise is en route to Port Elizabeth, New Jersey, where it will remain till Tuesday. Then a tugboat will move her to the Intrepid aircraft carrier. She will remain on top of the carrier until she gets into her permanent place in the new Space Shuttle Pavillion of the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum.
On Tuesday it will depart at 9:15am and sail past the Statue of Liberty and the World Trade Center at 10:40am, before she reaches her final destination at Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum at 11:30am. [Source]
