When you think of Angel Stadium images of the gorgeous waterfalls in center, fireworks after a win and a team with New York Yankees dynasty potential come to mind. When we think of Angel Stadium we think of all of that… plus the hottest moms in the country. Not sure what it is, but the level of hot babe moms in Anaheim trumps any other stadium in America. So all of that glory (the waterfalls, fireworks, moms) combined with the wide variety of signature ballpark food and great views from anywhere in the park make Angel Stadium of Anaheim a “Disney World for grown men”. The fact that Disney also owns the team makes me a little suspicious. Could Disney be planting hot moms in the stands to attract fans and optimize the ballpark experience? Conspiracy theory for another day.

The food at Angel Stadium, while overshadowed by the copius amounts of California cougars, was still some of the best ballpark grub in the country. We’ll start with The Halo Dog, an all-beef hot dog is wrapped with bacon and topped with charro beans, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, and pico de gallo salsa, a south western delicacy with a Mexican twist that screams “Ay dios mio!”. Then to the center field concourse to try some Chronic Tacos, a SoCal based taco joint that has taken the southwest by storm. The carne asada tacos are worth the smell of beef and bleach inside. At any given time during a game, the line will be around 45 minutes, worth it if you’re feening for that chronic.

The waterfalls in center are also a must see if you’re a first timer at the stadium, as well as the oversized hats and bats outside the main gate. They’re funny because they’re bigger than regular sized hats and bats. Another bucket list item was to touch a World Series Trophy, and while we didn’t get to touch one, the Angels 2002 Trophy is showcased close enough. Most teams keep their WS Trophies in the corporate office or in A-Rod’s personal clubhouse bathroom, but the Halo’s did good by their fans for this. Which is probably why they have one, if not the best fan bases in the MLB. Plus there’s hot moms everywhere.
