    Before each 11:30 pm live airing of SNL the cast and crew do a complete dress rehearsal with costumes, make-up, filming and the whole 9. This allows them to work out the kinks and people like Jimmy Fallon to get the laughs out. In this skit titled “Old Prospector” Will Ferrell takes the role of an old prospector named Gus Chiggins who somehow got involved with the US Army’s search of Osama bin Laden. The skit didn’t make it to air but it is one of the best in Will Ferrell seven year SNL career. Happy 45th birthday Will Ferrell!
