Today the city of Hoboken and the Mumford & Sons released 500 additional tickets to the public. People started lining up around 6:30 AM and by the time doors opened up at Tunes Record Shop at 10:00 AM there were several hundered people waiting.

We met Dave, Stephanie and their two friends who were the first to line up just before 7:00 AM.

Tickets are selling for an outrageous markup on StubHub so those who were fortunate to arrive early got a steal, $55 per ticket with no service fee.

We waited in line like everyone else and behind us was Hoboken Councilman David Mello (photo below wearing the Yankee hat) who said if all goes well with the Mumford & Sons show Hoboken will strongly considering turning concerts on Pier A into a twice per year event taking place in July and August. Everyone be good on Wednesday and if David ever runs for Mayor vote for him!! He is the man.

If you weren’t fortunate enough to score tickets RSVP for our Mumford & Sons Hoboken pre-party at Wicked Wolf. The forst 50 people to arrive will get a special edition t-shirt and you can hear the music from the bar while sipping on an ice cold beer.
RSVP now…

Chip, the owner of Tunes, was pumped to be the store selected to release the tickets.
