The Terminator (Drink Infographic)

We dubbed this drink The Terminator for 2 specific reasons; today is National Rum Day, so we wanted to create a drink that embodied the last relaxing bit of summer we have left. Ingredients that would be as refreshing  alone as they would be together. After doing some research, we stumbled upon a mixologist who would make these for him and his colleagues after a long night tending behind the bar. According to BACARDI mixologist, David Cordoba, “This Rum ‘n’ Coke Float is the classic barman’s reward. At the end of a long night mixing drinks at the Tonic Bar in Edinburgh, David and his colleagues would kick back with this luxurious treat made with BACARDI® Superior Rum, Coke and a healthy dollop of vanilla ice cream.”

The perfect end all summertime BBQ/rooftop/patio, F*ck winter cocktail. Being that it’s Roosevelt of the Year nominee, James Cameron’s, birthday, we named it after one of his most acclaimed movies. The Terminator is easy to make, and easy going down, but after a few, just like Arnold, it will search and destroy you. Having a pillow or hammock within reaching distance is strongly recommended.

A Beginner’s Guide To Whiskey [Infographic]

Bourbon is whiskey. Rye is whiskey. Scotch is whiskey. But that doesn’t mean they are interchangeable. Same with Irish, Japanese and Tennessee whiskeys. Each has its own unique flavor from differences in the mash recipe or aging process and each appeals to different tastes. Unfortunately, a lot of folks don’t…

Would You Drink This Beer Made With Human Urine?

Sure, we’ve all occasionally described some beer as tasting like piss, but we always knew that there wasn’t actually any pee in the brew. Now we can’t be so sure. Danish brewery Norrebro Bryghus has taken the recycled ingredient movement to a whole new level with Pisner, a cleverly-named pilsner…
