Seven popular indie rock groups took over Hoboken this Saturday at hMag‘s Lackawanna Music Festival and beer garden on Pier A. The weather was looking somewhat sketchy leading up to the event but no rain ever came through and it couldn’t have been a nicer day. We got to hang out with Tokyo Police Club, Vacationer, Shinobi Ninja and the other acts and talked to Dawn Zimmer about how incredible the Pilsener Haus pop-up beer garden was, she told us there is a possibility that more beer garden action could be coming to Pier A in the future – more to come! If you couldn’t make it out to Lackawanna Music Festival 2012 we shot a few pictures so check them out below.
Vacationer, the latest project from The Starting Line’s front man Kenny Vasoli said Pier A has the most impressive concert backdown they’ve played. Not bad for a guy who has played just about every major music festival on the globe.
An impromptu photoshoot with Shinobi Ninja‘s front man D.A. The guys from Shinobi were so damn cool, great performers. They posted a photo gallery of 60 pictures on their Facebook page so check it out and Tag yourself.

Hoboken’s famous Batman dressed up for the event as a clown. And then there is Cliff with a textbook photobomb in the back, well done sir.
