Hot off the heels of their 3x Platinum ablum Goats Head Soup The Rolling Stones launched a 22 city European tour that included 42 shows. Kicking off on August 1st in Vienna the tour weaved it’s way through West Germany, England, Scotland, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, The Netherlands, Belgium, and finished on October 19th with the band’s thirteenth show in West Germany, at the Deutschlandhalle in West Berlin, which would turn out to be Mick Taylor’s last live performance with the Stones. The Stones recently announced a series of gigs in New Jersey and London which leads to speculation that they may be gearing up for another world tour.
