RSVLTS Joins Crown Royal’s #PassTheCrown 2012

It’s the beginning of the holiday gift-giving season and Black Friday deals are leaking all over the place. To celebrate we are participating in Crown Royal’s #PassTheCrown competition with 26 other great websites.

It works like this… Each morning (until December 14th) one website will receive a “gift” wrapped in a Crown Royal bag along with a hint as to what gift might be inside the bag. The website will have until the end of the day to choose to open the gift or steal a gift already opened by another site. On Friday, Black Sports Online stole Kindle Fire HD 8.9” 4G LTE Wireless from Midwest Sports Fans so the gifts are pretty legit.

Today was our day to either open our gift or steal from someone else. With a Sonos Play 3, Proof 66 Digital Smokehouse and Kindle Fire available we decided to open our gift. Plus, our hint was “As Rare As It Gets” which means it very well could be a year long membership to a steak of the month club.

Follow #PassTheCrown on Twitter to see the action. We will also announce the contents of our gift once we get the news.

Now that many Starbucks are serving beer, we all knew it was only a matter of time before it found its way into some caffeinated concoction from the coffee giant. That concoction has finally arrived and it’s called the Espresso Cloud IPA. Created by Starbucks Coffee Master Justin Burns-Beach, the…

How To Order Whiskey Like a Pro

First we had wine snobs with their unpronounceable French words and descriptors that are completely useless in actually describing the taste of the wine. Then came the beer snobs to snicker at those of us who thoroughly enjoy Budweiser and don’t equate a hops-induced headache with a good brew. Now,…
