China’s Smog engulfs Skyline in Side by Side Photo

This side by side image of China’s skyline is nothing short of gasp worthy. The skyline has been completely blocked out by the severe smog that has left the country in panic. According to the South China Morning Post, the smog is 40x healthy levels in some parts of the country right now, and people are going to the hospital.

CNN producer Steven Jiang tweeted this image quoting “Beijing’s missing skyline: today (left) vs. what you should be seeing behind me (right).”
