Kate Bock Crowned Sports Illustrated’s 2013 Swimsuit Rookie of the Year

Kate Upton may have landed the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue for a second year in a row but the real story should be the 2013 rookie class.

Since the issue was released earlier this month Hannah Davis, Kate Bock, Emily DiDonato and Natasha Barnard have seen a massive growth in popularity.

Rookie of the Year voting wrapped up today and @MJ_Day revealed that Kate Bock wont he fan vote. Historically speaking this means Bock is going to have a wildly successful career and is on the fast track to cover model status.

Emily DiDonato [32 Photos]

Emily DiDonato was raised in a small town in Upstate New York. It was pretty apparent that she had world class beauty so family and friends encouraged her to give modeling a go. It proved to be good advice. Vogue Germany dubbed her a “top newcomer” and she has made appearances for Guess, Victoria’s Secret and several other big names. We named her to our Women Who Will Dominate 2013 list but little did we know our prediction she would have a big year would mean she landed a rookie spot in Sports Illustrated. Hannah Davis [41 Photos]

Hannah Davis is on the fast track to superstardom in 2013. Davis, a model for Ralph Lauren has been rumored to be dating Derek Jeter since summer 2012. The New York Daily News said Davis made a “rare, huge first impression” on the Swimsuit issue editors that she “could even be one of the beauties in the running for this year’s cover.” We now know that she didn’t land the cover but with the DirecTV commercials crushing it on TV we should see plenty of her in the future.
