Inappropriate Laugh Track Makes TV Scenes Super Awkward [Video]

The sitcom laugh track usually serves as an indication to us simple mouth-breathers that something funny is happening onscreen and we should laugh along. In this YouTube video, it is used in a more nefarious way, making us look like insensitive monsters for laughing during these serious scenes from those perennial “very special episodes.” I must admit, it didn’t change my reaction to Haley Joel Osment’s classic line from Walker, Texas Ranger. With or without the laugh track, it’s always been hilarious.
