Warren Buffet and Dan Gilbert have been making waves over the past couple of weeks announcing a March Madness bracket challenge offering up $1 Billion to anyone who fills out a perfect bracket. The challenge was looked at as a greedy play by the billionaire duo, who recently ranked #3 and #408 on Forbes Magazine’s Richiest People in the World list, but hey, when ya got it, ya got it. And when the odds are significantly in your favor, why not? DePaul University math professor Jeff Bergen told Yahoo Sports that the odds of filling out a perfect bracket random are 1 in 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 and the odds of a person with basketball knowledge correctly predicting every game is 1 in 128 billion.
