Take A Look At Some Of The Unique Cleats NFL Players Will Wear This Weekend

The NFL has become the No Fun League in recent years with constant fines doled out to any player who dares wear cleats that the league doesn’t approve of, even if it’s for a charitable cause. But the NFL’s gracious supreme overlord, Commissioner Roger Goodell, is allowing players to go ahead and have some fun this week and wear customized cleats as part of the “My Cause, My Cleats” program.

The customized cleats debuted on Thursday night’s Cowboys vs. Vikings game and will be allowed through every game of Week 13. After that, it’s back to the old fines: $6,076 for the first infraction and $12,154 for subsequent ones.

Over 500 of the league’s 1700 players are taking part, so while we couldn’t possibly share them all, take a look at some of the wild cleats you’ll see this weekend:
