Celebrate 30 Years Of Knockouts With This Video From Showtime Championship Boxing

In March 1986, Showtime Championship Boxing premiered in response to its premium channel competitor’s HBO World Championship Boxing. Over the last 30 years, Showtime Championship Boxing has been home to numerous notable fights and now you can watch the best knockouts from those fights in the highlight video below. There are some great fights, but if you just watch one clip, skip ahead to 6:15 and watch Mike Tyson take out Francois Botha with a short right in the fifth round back in 1999, Tyson’s first fight after his infamous bout with Evander Holyfield in which Tyson was banned form boxing for 15 months after biting Holyfield’s ear.
