‘F**k You, I’m Millwall’ Is Now a Beer

On June 3, Roy Lerner was at the Black & Blue restaurant and bar in London when three burst in with knives, shouting about Islam and Allah. While everyone else fled the scene, Lerner approached the men and said, “Fuck you, I’m Millwall.” He was stabbed eight times and has since been hailed as a hero for taking on the attackers so other patrons could get away safely. And now the soccer fan has become a celebrity for his badass drunken quote.

In honor of Lerner, Sweden brewery Frequency Beer Works has created F**k You, I’m Millwall, a 5% ABV English bitter with a portion of the proceeds going to the JustGiving fund started in his name.

The brewery explained the reasoning behind the beer in a statement:

We were humbled and impressed to read about Millwall supporter Roy Larner, who single-handedly stepped in against the terrorists in London, shouting “Fxxk You, I’m Millwall!”, saving countless lives by drawing the attention of the attackers, giving others the possibility to run to safety. We salute him, and have made a special edition of our bitter available in his honour.

Frequency is hoping to start selling the beer in the United Kingdom soon.
