Colonel Harland Sanders, who founded KFC, has been dead since 1980. But that didn’t stop the chicken chain from bringing him back beginning in 2015. Former SNL funnyman Darrell Hammond was the first to portray the Colonel, followed by Norm Macdonald, Jim Gaffigan, George Hamilton, Rob Riggle, Vincent Kartheiser, Billy Zane and Rob Lowe. Oh yeah, and there have been a couple WWE “Colonels,” too: Dolph Ziggler and Shawn Michaels. Now KFC has revealed the latest actor to tackle the Colonel, Ray Liotta.
The Goodfellas star appears as a very confused Colonel whose psyche is splitting under the pressure of choosing between sweet and tangy Georgia Gold honey mustard BBQ chicken, or spicy and smoky Nashville Hot chicken. It’s…disturbing.
