Atlas Genius Dazzles Fans At Webster Hall Showcase [10 Photos + Video]
Atlas Genius recently wrapped up a sold-out tour with Imagine Dragons and are now the Australians are hitting the road for their first ever North American headlining tour. They will also perform at numerous festivals, including the Sasquatch! Festival, Lollapalooza, the Firefly Music Festival, Summerfest, Edgefest, San Francisco’s BFD and San Diego’s X-Fest. If the music industry was a high school yearbook than Atlas Genius would be Most Likely To Succeed in the superlatives section. Every major music publication has highlighted Atlas Genius in their “bands to watch in 2013″ lists for good reason. These guys really do rock. To celebrate the honor of being named a “MTV Artist to Watch” the band performed an intimate show at Webster Hall’s The Studio for roughly 100 diehard fans. The set was live streamed over the web and their label hooked us up with a photo pass to capture all the action. The band absolutely crushed it. At one point the power went out to their microphones and instead of crumbling the band capitalized on the adversity by performing their hit single Trojans acoustically-ish to a hushed the crowd.
