  • JavHead Stole The Show At Coachella [42 Photos]

Arcade Fire may have been the headlining performer at Coachella on Sunday but it was an oversized cutout that clearly stole the show. Javhead.com is our second favorite site on the internet so we decided to hit the print shop to bring JavHead along with us to the festival. We didn’t think many people would recognize JavHead but our crew couldn’t walk more than 30 feet at a time without getting stopped by someone asking if they could take a picture. We spent hours around the festival with JavHead in the air so there are probably more than a few people interested in what the hell it was all about. Hundreds of photos were taken and here are some of the best. If you haven’t visited Javhead.com do it NOW!

  • The 2014 Coachella Spotify Cheatsheet

Nearly 100 bands are scheduled to perform at Coachella which means there are dozens of bands you might not know yet are worth seeing. With that in mind Brandon Hoang created a Spotify playlist featuring the two best songs from every artists at Coachella. Throw this cheat sheet on random and learn some new music just in time for the April 11th festival kick off.

  • Motorhead’s Lemmy Roars Again [Link]

One of the biggest surprises of the Coachella lineup this year was the announcement that Motorhead would play the festival. Last year Lemmy Kilmister, the 67-year-old frontman for the metal band, canceled touring due to health reasons. It looked as if his hard living, which included a steady diet of speed and booze, had finally caught up with him. Rolling Stone recently caught up with the iconic bass player and it sounds as if the Lemmy we all know and love is back, albeit with a few less vices.

  • RSVLTS Crash The Super Sexy “Volt Valley” Coachella Pool Party [136 Photos + GIFS]

The “Volt Valley” Coachella pool party is the be-all, end-all place for celebrities and beautiful people to congregate before heading over to the festival grounds. Naturally, since we are super sexy in our new RSVLTS t-shirts, we were in attendance to do some zip lining, eat a few burgers from STK and try some delicious Patron infused ice cream cookie sandwiches. We also got to rip some pregame shots with Michael Peña, otherwise known as Nick Memphis in the incredibly underrated flick Shooter. Great dude and as you’ll see below he’s got a good eye for saucy poolside cell phone photos.

  • 5 Ways a Popular Beer Brand Is Making Coachella Even Better

Festivals like Coachella offer impressive lineups and promise a good time – it’s true. But they have also become synonymous with sweaty, stinky crowds of people pushing back and forth through a maze of humanity to catch about three to five bands a day, if they are lucky. The heat can be a real buzzkill too. And what is a fan to do, really; Bring their own beer to the camp ground and have it go warm because there is no ice within five miles of the festival grounds? Gross. “Well, not so fast,” says Heineken. For the 12th year in a row, the beer brand is back at Coachella, not only as the festival’s official beer beverage, but also as a creative partner pulling out all stops to enhance the festival experience for fans in attendance.

  • RSVLTS Coachella Adventure [75 HQ Photos]

This past weekend we went to the first weekend of Coachella Arts and Music Festival at Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, Ca. At the festival we saw some incredible bands perform, met hundreds of music fans, went celebrity spotting in the various VIP sections and drank icy cool beers in the Heineken Dome. Luckily we were able to score a coveted photo pass that allowed us to be one of the few publications allowed to roam around with a professional camera. We used a Nikon 5200 with a 16-35mm lens which helped us capture these excellent pictures. If you spot yourself or someone you know feel free to download the pictures and share on Facebook.

  • Insiders Look At Heineken’s Coachella Dome Dance Party [15 HQ Photos]

Here is a pro tip for anyone attending weekend two of Coachella. Beat the heat, enjoy good music and get a quick beer at the Heineken Domes. Beyond providing the only wi-fi access on the entire festival grounds and music from DJs like White Noize, the Heineken Domes are also chilled with massive air conditioners providing concert goers relief from the heat and a pretty epic dance party. We spent a lot of time in the Domes over the weekend and if you couldn’t make it out to the festival here is what you missed.

  • Coachella Here We Come

The population in Indio, California is roughly 76,000 for 50 weeks of the year. But for two weekends in mid-April, the population quadruples as nearly 200,000 lively enthusiasts congregate on the city’s polo grounds for Coachella Arts and Music Festival.

  • Website Lets You Create A Custom Coachella Lineup And Export To iCal or Google Calendar

Finally, just 48 hours before the first bands take the stage at Empire Polo Club, the promoters of Coachella have released the 2013 set times. As with any music festival there is so much awesomeness going on at once and you don’t want to miss a moment. To help prevent this we’ve found an incredible website that allows you to easily digest all the set times and build a custom set time calendar with a few clicks then export it to either iCal or Google Calendar. Clashfinder.com is absurdly easy to use and we implore you to give it a try.

  • Could Coachella Have Reunited Nirvana With A Hologram Of Kurt Cobain?

When Coachella released their “Bloom” teaser video (below) on Wednesday we thought there was a chance Golden Voice, the promoters of Coachella, would bring the living members of Nirvana, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl, together to support a reunion of the band fronted by a hologram version of Kurt Cobain. Wishful thinking but not all that unrealistic. Novoselic and Grohl performed together for the first time in over 20 years at the Hurricane Sandy benefit concert and the 1993 “In Utero” concert (above) and the MTV Unplugged show offer great video footage that could have been turned into a hologram. It wasn’t meant to be but maybe next year? Since the 2Pac performance in 2012 was such a hit and fake Coachella line-up posters are all over the web someone put together this gem featuring an all hologram line-up.

  • The Definitive Coachella 2013 Spotify Playlist – Stream It Free Now!

Some people are saying that this year’s line-up is a bit weak. “So stoked for Blur, The Stone Roses and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.” – Every Dad on Earth. But there are still plenty of bands to be really excited about. Many of which you may have never even heard before. So now we give you the ultimate Coachella playlist. It is a collection of three different playlists broken down by Friday, Saturday and Sunday artists. So throw it on shuffle and get acclimated to the musical cornucopia coming this April.

  • The Rolling Stones To Headline Coachella?

The producers of Coachella won’t be releasing the 2013 line-up until later this month but if a cryptic photo of a big round rock in an empty field on the festival’s grounds is any indication we might assume that The Rolling Stones will be headlining this year’s festival. See also: 40 Incredible High-Res Photos from Coachella 2012 >> Rolling Stone (the magazine) also said that, “The Stones themselves listed Coachella 2013 in the tour section of their mobile app for a brief time late last year, though Mick Jagger told Rolling Stone that he didn’t know how it got there.” See also: There Was No Shortage Of Bikini Girls At Coachella 2012 [60 Photos] >> It has been 44 years since the Stones have played an American festival but music insiders are speculating that the band is planning a massive tour to  honor their 50th anniversary as Keith Richard said,”We barely got off the starting blocks” when referring to their series of shows in the Tri-State area.

  • An Incredible Amount of Valuable Stuff Was Lost At Coachella…

It has been 30 days since Coachella took place and the promoters have hit Facebook in an attempt to return all the lost stuff top their rightful owners. It is mind-blowing how many keys, glasses, wallets, phones, bags and valuable cameras were lost and unclaimed. They posted pictures of the lost items online in hopes that their owners will see them and claim. If these don’t make you face palm nothing will.

  • A Reckless Coachella Experience

Young and Reckless enjoyed an incredible Coachella experience in 2012. You probably know this already from the amazing pictures we posted up.  From dance parties in the Sahara tent to watching Tupac perform live, they managed to have an amazing time and cannot wait to return in 2013.

  • 40 Incredible High-Res Photos from Coachella 2012

Week one of Coachella Arts and Music Festival is officially in the books. The hologram performance from Tupac was definitely the winner of the weekend – watch the HD video here. If you weren’t able to make it out this past weekend head down to Indio, CA because they are doing it all over again next weekend – same line-up and everything. Celebrities were out in full force, The Hoff was spotted amongst the crown, and so were the Coachella girls in bikinis. The weather didn’t exactly cooperate the first two days, windy with some rain but it didn’t seem to dampen the moods of the party goers as you’ll see in the following pictures.

  • There Was No Shortage Of Bikini Girls At Coachella 2012 [60 Photos]

Coachella is like Halloween. It’s an excuse for everyone to get blasted, dance to music, hit the dozens of local pool parties and for girls to wear what ever they damn please. With temperatures in the mid-80′s naturally several thousands in the crowd opted for maximum sun exposure and dusted off the bikini. Why not, if you’re gonna let your freak flag fly why not do it while looking good. Today Guyism gave you the 200 Women of Coachella but we’ve decided to narrow it down even more and give you the bikini girls of the 2012 Coachella music festival and pool parties.

  • Watch M83′s Full Coachella Set

M83 is definitely one of our favorite new bands on the scene. I say new because the band has been making music for over a decade but it wasn’t until M83′s latest album “Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming” was released in October 2011 that we really caught wind of them – better late than never, right? Here is video from their entire Coachella set. At one point Katy Perry jumps up on stage to make a quick guest appearance. On it’s surface a Katy Perry appearance sounds like it could have really lamed out their set but it only added to the fun.
