The Icelandic Indie/Folk band’s new single, “Little Talks”, has the potential to be stuck in your head for most of the summer. The six person band came out of the blue with this smash hit song after gathering up and ’09 and taking the Icland music scene by storm. Gordon Bombay and The Ducks might be the only ones who can stop these vikings. Contrary to rumors, Wolf “The Dentist” Stansson is not the tambourinist. Check out the gnarly video that’s nostalgically reminiscent of The Smashing Pumpkin’s “Tonight, Tonight” Video.

When Spin Magazine was with the Bon Iver team in Grammyland a couple of weeks ago, they spoke excitedly of a new video on the horizon, one they couldn’t wait to share. Here is the new music video for Grammy winner Bon Iver’s “Towers” that stars a guy who looks like Daniel Day Lewis.

The Shin’s “Simple Song” Music Video

The Shins are back with their first album since 2007′s “Wincing the Night Away.” Their new album “Port of Morrow” was recorded in late 2011 in Los Angeles and Portland will be made available on March 20th. Spring/summer tour dates have yet to be announced but the band has released the first music video from the album for their current single ”Simple Song.” The DANIELS-directed video for the Shins’ “Simple Song” is a glossy, Wes Anderson-style journey into the fictional future of frontman James Mercer. Beginning with Mercer’s death, the clip chronicles his relationship with his three children (played by the other members of the band) as they tear through their house in search of the deed.
