  • Exclusive: Hunter Hayes Performs at the Pepsi 5th Quarter Official Super Bowl After-Party

Hunter Hayes is nominated for three Grammy Awards and is the most exciting young talent in the industry. He performed at Pepsi’s 5th Quarter official Super Bowl after-party for a very intimate crowd of a few dozen. Pepsi invited us out to the party and we were fortunate enough to score a spot in the very front. Judging by the reaction we got to our Justin Timberlake videos we figured you guys like seeing music content so we used the opportunity to shoot some video. Hunter reminds us of a young John Mayer with country influence. He is immensely talented, performing every instrument on his debut, self-titled album, has a great voice and wrote or co-wrote all the songs on the album as well. This is a staggering trifecta that will make him a force for years to come.

Watch a two minute recap of the 2012 event here >> EDC will bring a spectacular display of special effects, state-of-the-art lighting and sound. We’re also hoping they bring all the carnival rides again because the Zipper was arguable our favorite part of the entire weekend. “Based on the tremendous success of the first EDC New York in 2012, there was no question that Insomniac would return to the loyal fans in New York who truly enjoy the multi-sensory experience that we create,” said Insomniac CEO, Pasquale Rotella. Two-day general admission tickets will initially be priced at $159 with VIP tickets selling at $299 before service fees. • Could Coachella Have Reunited Nirvana With A Hologram Of Kurt Cobain?

When Coachella released their “Bloom” teaser video (below) on Wednesday we thought there was a chance Golden Voice, the promoters of Coachella, would bring the living members of Nirvana, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl, together to support a reunion of the band fronted by a hologram version of Kurt Cobain. Wishful thinking but not all that unrealistic. Novoselic and Grohl performed together for the first time in over 20 years at the Hurricane Sandy benefit concert and the 1993 “In Utero” concert (above) and the MTV Unplugged show offer great video footage that could have been turned into a hologram. It wasn’t meant to be but maybe next year? Since the 2Pac performance in 2012 was such a hit and fake Coachella line-up posters are all over the web someone put together this gem featuring an all hologram line-up.
