  • The Pete & Pete 20th Anniversary Reunion Goes Horribly Wrong (Video)

The Adventures of Pete & Pete was everyone’s show. Not everyone’s favorite show, just that show you wouldn’t turn off if it was on. A little weird, but made up for it’s strangeness with lovable characters and suck-you-in story telling. Not a day goes by where I don’t think about the lady of my childhood, Petunia. The crew recently had a reunion at the SF Sketchfest and things didn’t go over too well.   The Adventures of Pete & Pete 20th Anniversary Reunion from Michael C Maronna

The cast of Cool Runnings recently reunited at Calgary’s Plaza Theatre Sunday to celebrate the 20th anniversary of it’s release. Several members of the cast were on hand to sign autographs, take photos and watch a special screening of the beloved movie. Two cast members, Leon Robinson and Doug E. Doug, decided against watching the matinee saying, “Last night I watched it, and I was like ‘OK, that’s enough,’” Doug explained to Metro Calgary. “You start to get critical of yourself. You’re not watching what people are watching. You’re just thinking, ‘Wow, my head looks big. My dreadlocks look messy.’”  So this got us thinking, what is the cast up to these days? Obviously John Candy is no longer with us and Sanka Coffie is an all-star on Facebook but what about everyone else? Let’s do a quick check in. He is immensely talented, performing every instrument on his debut, self-titled album, has a great voice and wrote or co-wrote all the songs on the album as well. This is a staggering trifecta that will make him a force for years to come.
