GoPro Video Uses “Matrix” Style Stop Time Wrap Effect
Amateur filmmaker, Marc Donahue of Permagrin Films, showed off his half-circle grouping used 15 GoPros to use a rotating effect stopping time in mid air. Th effect produces a similar Matrix type rendering, only there is no CGI here. This isn’t revolutionary in the sense of film style, but completely new with a GoPro style camera. The video uses 15 cameras provided by GOPro for the video, he told blog FStoppers. Donahue added that he’s planning to release a music video using the same technique, soon.
