  • The Labor Day Weekend Gear Guide

Unfortunately the end of summer is almost upon us. Seems like only yesterday we were knocking our glasses of scotch together in honor for the greatest summer in the history of hot weather in which we were about to embark on. And for some of us, we’ve made the best of it with adventure and travel or maybe just venturing to the shore every weekend, hanging with familiar faces. But summer isn’t over just yet, we still have a couple of weekends to go, especially the big one. Labor Day Weekend, where magic happens and dreams come true. We’ve done all the work for you, providing you with everything you need for the best weekend of the summer. Most of the garb you’ll be able to get great summer deals, ranging from 25-50% off. Go ahead let your hair down (if you’re a pro boarder or in a band. If not, cut it) relax, pop open a couple of Bud heavies and soak in the last weekend of your youth (until you convince yourself how young you are on MDW ’13) You also have our permission to stop doing P90X now. The graphic ranges from their original Cortez running shoe in 1971, through their Considered BB of 2007. Either way take a look at this neeto infographic of the worlds most popular brand through visuals.

  • Nike SB Dunk x Supreme

NYC skate shop and alpha sneaker revolutionists, Supreme, have collaborated with Nike for the third installment of arguably the most prized colorway in the SB line. The elephant print/ cement print line was originally released in 2002 and, since, has paved the way for the most celebrated style of sneakers in the entire sneaker head community, The Nike SB Dunk. The ’02 collab was the beginning of what would become a standard in today’s loco (crazy) sneaker saturated world. It was unique and virtually unheard of for a sneaker giant like Nike to collaborate with an independent skate shop. Hard to believe given all the “x”‘s you see between two brands these days. So it’s only fitting the two brands cozy back up for their 10th anniversary for a colorway that has since been all but printed and beaten to death. Although I, personally, think the elephants were and are one of the best patterns to come out in the now over hyped, over priced and over faked world of SB’s, the time has come and gone. The beauty of the initial release was the uniqueness of the sneaker, but put these up against any pair of crazy PacSun 6.0′s more »
