It’s wedding season which means you better start looking for a second job. Most of the focus is on how much the bride and groom will have to pony up for their big day but what about the people who pay just for the pleasure of wishing them well? A recent survey by American Express found the 69 million people expected to attend weddings this year will shell out an average of $577 per person, compared to $377 in 2012. Between tux rentals, dress fittings, bachelor(ette) parties, pre-wedding showers and gifts, it all adds up.
