Prediction: Natasha Barnard Will Land The Cover of SI Swimsuit By 2016

You first met Natasha Barnard back in February when she made her debut to the world in Sports Illustrated’s 2013 Swimsuit issue – view the photos here. The South African with mesmerizing eyes made her rookie debut in the issue along side some Hannah Davis, Kate Bock and Emily Didonato. With a deadly combination of dark hair and blue eyes it is easy to see why this South African bombshell will likely one day land the coveted SI Swimsuit cover spot. We’re thinking 2016-ish, leaving 2014 open for Nina Agdal to shine and 2015 as a possible 3rd cover for Kate Upton. Until then we can enjoy her work for great brands like Leonisa lingerie who landed her to model their fall 2013 collection.

Kate Upton may have landed the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue for a second year in a row but the real story should be the 2013 rookie class as revealed in this leak by Fashioncopious.com. Two rookie beauties, Katherine Webb and Hannah Davis, are already well-known for their high profile relationships and career moves that include commercial and modeling successes. The other three models on the list have had success in their own right and the appearance in 2013 Swimsuit will send their name into the Google Search stratosphere when the issue is released on February 12th. Our early favorite for Rookie of the Year would have to go to Hannah Davis who landed a coveted placement on this year’s cover, see the upper right corner. Back in 2011, Kate Upton landed this placement on the cover and eventually was crowned Rooie of the Year.

You first learned about 24-year-old Natasha Barnard on RSVLTS.com back in October when we revealed she was was to appear in the 2012 Sports Illustrated South Africa Swimsuit issue. Now Sports Illustrated has chosen to allow Natasha to cross over the Atlantic and become a star in the United States.
