For our 6th edition of She Knows What She Wants, Lauren, a Beauty PR Account Coordinator, gives us her favorite holiday gifts you can get your girl for under $100. This Holiday season we’ve compiled a list of 5 categories and asked a select group of bright minded females to do all the work for us. The lovely ladies must choose a gift for each category around $100 or less and describe why. Lets face it, it’s just not easy buying holiday gifts for women, so we’re going to do all the research for you. All you have to do is pick the gift that best matches your dame’s lifestyle. Use the guide as matter of fact or just a good start in your otherwise oblivious gift buying mind state. The lovely Lauren is a somewhat of a truffled, trendy fashionista and the perfect city girl to take girlfriend gift advice from, being that women dominate her workforce. She’s also pretty hot.

In GQ, PUBLISHER / / 0 comments
GQ has just named Bill Murray the cover face for the new year, giving us all hope for a great 2013. They talk ”playing FDR, bantering through a Hyde Park accent and cigarette holder, batting away murmurs of another Oscar nomination. But has the comic giant just gotten too damn beloved and too damn acclaimed for his own liking?” We don’t think so. See all 18 photos on GQ.com >>

You’re a Rat Bastard Charlie Brown (SNL Video)
In Awesome / / 0 comments
SNL breaks out the big guns for this holiday stage rendition of A Charlie Brown Christmas, staring Al Pacino, Edie Falco, Phillip Seymore Hoffman, Michael Keaton and Larry David. A real knee slapper that deserves a little Roosevelts recognition. Hader’s impression as Pacino could be the best thing SNL has produced since the digital short. The only thing better than this, would be a full feature featuring this cast.

This Quantum Levitation Gives Us hope for a Hoverboard (Video)
In Awesome / / 0 comments
I can try and preface this video with an explaination, but you need to see it to believe it. Tel-Aviv University demos quantum superconductors locked in a magnetic field, which suspends this piece of liquid nitrogen locked in mid air. The superconductor can also move in a locked position in rotation and even on a track. We’re so close to a Marty McFly Hoverboard, I can taste it, and it tastes like liquid nitrogen. GO SCIENCE!

There’s One of These Girls at Every Party (SNL Video)
In Comedy / / 0 comments
Seth brings on, SNL rookie, Cecily Strong as ”The girl you wish you hadn’t started a conversation with at a party” and it’s all too close to home, this highly accurate depiction gave me chills. There’s one at every party, bar and lounge in America. A cute girl with potential, who’s just drunk enough to be annoying and just annoying enough to completely dissolve every morsel of norepinephrine you had in your body. She’s self righteous, entitled, sprinkled with some ignorance and topped off with a humble brag. Beware; If you spot an attractive girl standing by herself at a party, this is probably why.
