When our country’s very first bartender’s guide, How to Mix Drinks, was published the year after Abraham Lincoln took office in 1861, America entered a golden age of cocktails. As it turns out, a lot of what was available to drink back in the 16th president’s day has now come back in fashion.
Lincoln is already an early contender for Best Picture and it doesn’t even hit theaters until November 9th. We have been waiting three years for this movie to be released and finally the day is upon us. Abe Lincoln is widely considered to be the best President in U.S. history so to get a better idea of Lincoln, the man, we pulled together several pictures.
