  • Hoboken Leprecon 2013 [77 Photos]

Another Hoboken St. Patrick’s day in Hoboken is in the books. Dozens of $2,000 public drinking and urination tickets were issued and the Hoboken 411 up-to-the-minute police blotter is absolutely bizarre. Here are some highlights:  9:12pm: Crazy drunks smash storefront windows of Washington Liquors at 211 Washington St. 7:03pm: Woman urinating on CD’s inside Tunes store downtown. 6:40pm: Disorderly drunk arrested near 9th & Washington. Apparently damaging cars by walking all over them. 3:45pm: Man wearing “rainbow hat” allegedly assaulting girlfriend in elevator at 300 Adams Street.  We pulled together over 75 great photos from today’s event. Check them out below.

  • 25 Bands We Want To See Perform At Hoboken’s Pier A In Summer 2013

2013 is right around the corner which means it’s time to start thinking about summer concerts on Pier A in Hoboken. Yes, concerts, with an ‘s.’ Before this past summer’s Mumford & Sons concert we spoke to a Hoboken councilman named David Mello and he told us that the town is considering doing two concerts per year, most-likely in July and August. There is considerable planning that goes into producing a show of this magnitude so it’s never too late to start suggesting bands. We did a survey of friends living in and around Hoboken and here are the bands they want to see play. Each band had to fit the ballpark price of Mumford & Sons, which is roughly $100-150k. Obviously with the destruction Hurricane Sandy brought to Hoboken we figure the bands might even consider taking less money and donating proceeds from the show to victims, just a thought. We’re going to be sending this list to Hoboken politicians and local media so if you have a band you’d like to see let us know about it in the comments, there is a good chance your suggestion will be seen and considered. Thanks to Krysten, Rob, Drew, Anthony, Chad, Sean and Jameel more »

  • 10 Most (And Least) Sexually Charged Cities in America [Infographic]

Hoboken, NJ cracked a very prestigious top 10 list. One that shows which cities value sex the most in our great nation. Color me not shocked. Anyone living outside the Hoboken area might be saying WTF but for anyone living in the Mile Square this is a no brainer. Hoboken has more bars per square mile than any city in America and the people are sexually charged. It’s like a college town for adults – especially in the warm months.
