On Tuesday 49-year-old Jamie Moyer turned in the best pitching performance of the year for the Rockies letting up only 6 hits and 0 earned runs over 7 innings and in the process became the oldest pitcher to win a game in Major League Baseball history. On Sunday Moyer starts for the Rockies against Milwaukee with hopes of breaking his own record. Today’s Photo of the Day features Moyer as he goes through his delivery during Tuesday night’s historic win.

49 year-old Jamie Moyer is enjoying another Spring Training. With the Rockies, Jamie Moyer is entering his ninth organization and 25th season. The guy refuses to hang it up and defying all logic there is a real good chance he could get a starting rotation spot with the Rockies this year. What better way to look at the early stages of Jamie’s career than with some old school baseball cards!
