A week ago Pizza Hut announced an app that will allow you to order a pizza with nothing more than some hand gestures and Xbox controller. The announcement was like the invention of the beer dispensing helmet for gamers. We wrote a little bit about the projections Pizza Hut is expecting, but now they’ve released a one upper “Extreme Smoothie Tuber” and premiered the commercial on Kimmel.
Ford showed up on Kimmel last night to talk about his current work and of course Jimmy inquired about the much anticipates Star Wars movie shcheduled for summer of 2015. Apparently Harrison wanted no part of the questions and even got a bit squeamish when presented with the inquiry. He prefaced the interview stating that he was up for talking about anything but Star Wars then took a few questions from the audience before having a complete meltdown on air after one audience member couldn’t contain himself.

In the crazy world of linebacker’s pseudo fake girlfriends and catfish, it’s nice to see some simple pure comedy. It’s like the best parts of Kindergarten Cop, supercut into a 2 minute video. Hilarity ensues.
Now that Jimmy Kimmel is on at 11:35 he is pulling in some amazing guest spots. Apparently his now time slot cut into Will Ferrell’s QVC Knife Show.
The rules have changed in late night TV. With social media in the mix, a new breed of late night talk show has risen, literally leaving the traditionalists in the dark. Hosts are not only personalities for their shows, but for their YouTube channels, twitter following and Facebook fans. The younger audience relies on the online social interaction to form a bond with their shows of choice.
National Unfriend Day is a holiday Jimmy Kimmel came up with two years ago. Every November 17th we have the opportunity to Unfriend anyone on Facebook who you are not actually friends with. Most people have between 4-30 real friends but on Facebook that number can run into the thousands. It makes no sense and it is time to get rid of them. These are the people you should Unfriend first. It’s like cleaning out your attic except they are people you aren;t friends with.
Jay Leno is still the king of late-night television, but for how long? The battle for night-owl TV watchers in America will get interesting at the start of 2013, when ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” will move to the 11:35 p.m. EST slot, pitting Kimmel in a showdown with NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and the current number two, CBS’ “Late Show with David Letterman.”
