Photo of the Day: Qualifying For The London Olympics Like A Boss
Wei Ning of China won the women’s skeet for her eighth World Cup triumph. Wei, the 2003 world champion and Athens Olympic silver medalist, came from behind to outshoot Danka Bartekova (pictured) of Slovakia, a two-time World Cup winner. Bartekova put the pressure on Wei in the final with a perfect 25 hits from 25 targets, but Wei held her nerve after missing her 14th target to hit everything else and tie to force a shootoff. Wei won when she hit both of her targets and Bartekova missed one. Two-time Olympic champ Kimberly Rhode of the United States also won a shootoff to claim the bronze, beating Sutiya Jiewchaloemmit of Thailand 4-3. Source | Source

First Look Inside London’s Olympic Stadium [21 High Quality Photos]
London’s Olympic Stadium home of the 2012 Summer games officially opened to the public this past weekend when 5,000 people, including athletes, celebrities and Princess Beatrice, took part in The National Lottery Olympic Park Run. Now that the doors are open lets take a look at the stadium that will be the centerpiece of the 2012 Summer Olympics kicking off July 27th. Also check out this beautiful aerial photo of the stadium.

London Tube’s Olympic Legends Map [Infographic]
As London begins to gear up for the 2012 Olympics the city’s transport commission today unveiled their Olympic Legends Map. The names of all 361 stations on the iconic multi-coloured London tube map have been altered to the names of Olympic heroes – past and present. Oxford Circus has become Australian swimming legend Ian Thorpe, Covent Garden is now British sailing hope Ben Ainslie and Paddington is reigning World Footballer of the Year Lionel Messi.
