Windows Phone + The Roosevelts said sayonara to summer by taking in one last night at the ballpark. We kicked back in the Delta Club Suite with a few cold brews and enjoyed the last few days of NYC heat as the Mets took on the Atlanta Braves. Thanks to our friends KFC and Brendan (BarstoolSports NYC), Z (CollegeHumor), Charlie (Men’s Fitness), Rob (BustedCoverage), Joseph (Radar), Aimee (BleacherReport) Javier (MKTG), and Chris (KineticSocial) who joined us. A massive rain storm rolled through during the 6th inning so we got to head inside for an extended open bar during the delay. After the game started back up Jason Heyward hit a foul ball into our box and it was scooped up by Javier.

The Mets have had a miserable stretch of player over the last two months. But this season isn’t a total loss. Here are three things that have actually gone well for them.

What better way for us to kick off our #WPbaseball Bucket List than visiting one of the great new American ballparks located at 12001 Roosevelt Ave in Flushing, NY with a few close compadres who just happen to run some of the top lifestyle and sports destinations on the web. When you ask a Mets fan about Citi Field their response usually entails a good story about how “this is the year” (if it’s spring training) or “it’s a rebuilding year” (if it’s after July). Low blows aside Mets fans will also pridefully tell you that every seat in the park has a great view of the action on the field. As you’ll see from the videos and photos from our first stop, Citi Field had charm and plenty of great baseball bucket list items to keep us busy. The stadium is only a few years old but has quickly added an arsenal of food, attractions and interesting superfans. Basically everything you need to avoid watching The Mets.

On Saturday night we kicked off our #WPbaseball Bucket List trip at Citi Field with a bang. HTC Titan II has an incredible panorama function built into the phone so that, combined with the 16 mega pixel camera, make for some photographic magic. At each ballpark of the trip we are going to shoot scenic and iconic views in panorama. Here are three must see locations at Citi Field – the main entrance with the old Citi Field apple, the Jackie Robinson rotunda and the view from the Delta Club patio suite. See our schedule here and check back daily for more panoramic photos.

New York Mets open up a three game stint in Houston against the Astros tonight. In order to look official and “blend in” down south RA Dickey, Johan Santana and the rest of the players busted out the cowboy hats, belt buckles, boots and Wrangler jeans for the three hour flight and their exploration of the city.
