    The P-Rod signature series has become the figurehead in SB line from the brands ever growing skateboarding division. Becoming the first athlete to sign with Nike Skateboarding Paul believed in the quality product that hadn’t yet earned the respect of the community of skate. This was back in 2005, Nike since has become a master of the skateboarding craft, pushing footwear technology (such as the three-quarter Nike Lunarlon midsole, featured in the shoe) and skating to the forefront of the industry, signing top tier athletes like Stefan Janoski, Eric Koston and Shane O’Neill. The P-Rod 7 are set to release in the beginning of July. r

  • Nike Air Trainer ’91 Pack Celebrates Bo Jackson

    On May 25, Nike released the Nike Air Trainer Max ’91 Bo Pack. Rendered in the signature Raiders black and silver, the design celebrates key elements of the Jackson’s monumental career. The sneaker was originally released in 1991, while Bo was in the heat of his monumental athletic career, almost single handedly putting cross training on the market. The sneaker features wolf grey reflective upper, the tonal straps read “Bo Knows” in reference to the seminal Nike campaign. The left heel features the Oakland Raiders logo while the right calls out Jackson’s iconic number 34. On the midsole, a newly designed shatter graphic references Jackson’s ability to break through barriers across any athletic encounter. The NFL Nike Game White Jersey with Jackson’s name and number on the back round out the pack.  

  • Nike Unveils Calvin Johnson “Megatron” CJ81 ELITE Cleat

    Megatron Johnson and Nike collaborated to create this high octane cleat combining dynamic natural motion engineering in the upper with a new lockdown support system and hybrid collar design for 360 degrees of explosive speed. Johnson, who has a background engineering and a scholarly pedigree was hands on in the making of this revolutionary cleat and we’re sure the logo, that mimics the Deceptacon icon from Transformers, as well. Nike took the time to understand exactly what I need in my cleats — from the way I move, to how much support I need, to the way it feels,” Johnson says. “My new CJ81 Elite TD cleat is built for hardcore performance and it looks amazing.”  

  • Nike Lebron X MVP Edition First Look

    Nike has released photos commemorating LeBron on his fourth MVP title with colorways and designs of each style in the LEBRON X series, which James debuted in August 2012. The letters MVP are written up the shoe tongue and supposedly tell a story of the journey for james this past year. The vibrant colors and unique palette show the road from London to Miami. Lets be honest, the shoes look like Frankensneakers, but I’m sure the youngins will go crazy for these Cosby sweaters with a Nike Swoosh on them. James becomes only the second player to win four MVP titles in five years, joining the select group of four-time MVPs in the award’s 58-year history.To mark the historic honor, James is wearing this special edition shoe for the playoffs. The LEBRON X MVP shoe will be available in limited quantities at select retailers in North America and China soon.

  • Nike Free 5.0 TR Jon “Bones” Jones Edition

    Nike has released a special edition of its Free 5.0 TR for UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Jon “Bones” Jones. The 5.0 TR are designed to give you a more flexible bi lateral movement with more freedom, because of it’s ultra build. It looks like an accent infared on the edges of the woven layers, which give the show a pop accent.  The shoes are set to release today at select Nike outlets. $105

Using Nike’s Flywire & Hyperfuse materials, they’ve constructed a lighter, yet more stable shoe for all walk of runners. The staple of timeless show construction meets contemporary innovation.     This season, Nike is releasing a line of wool running products to help you stay warm through the frigid bitch of winter. The one problem with this product is you wont be able to complain about not being able to run because its too cold. We’re patiently awaiting the release of their turtleneck and thin gold chain line.

    London based illustrator / designer / graphic artist, Stephen Cheetham is a major sneaker fan and has thus created a series of crisp graphics showing many of Nike’s most iconic shoes from the 70′s through the 2000′s. The graphic ranges from their original Cortez running shoe in 1971, through their Considered BB of 2007. The Nike swoosh is synonomous with creating the highest level of athletic shoes since the beginning of man kind. Right?     Originally released in 1976, the Elite is one of Nike’s most popular runners ever due to its simple profile. and lightweight design. This SS12 reissue this ‘no sew’ version utilises Nike’s pressure welded seam technology, resulting in an extra clean silhouette. Nike will be releasing different runners using their new revolutionary “No Sew” technology in the coming months.

    The shoe weighs in at a mere 5.6 ounces. One piece of seamless knit, weaved together to create the HTM Flyknit Racer. This brainchild of notorious Nike powerhouse collabs Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield, Mark Parker is also 19% lighter than the Nike Zoom Streak 3, a top-tier marathon shoe worn by the first, second, and third-place finishers at the 2011 World Championships.
