Throughout the past 20 years of baseball, we’ve seen the pinnacle of offensive performance rise fast and then steadily decline to the less entertaining world without performance enhancing drugs we know today. Today the game is fair. Pitchers have dominated a fair amount this season, but the true skilled hitters stick out like a sore thumb.
