We Need These Wearable Star Wars Sleeping Bags

In 2006, Rodrigo Alonso of Musuchouse in Santiago, Chile, changed the world with the creation of the Selk’bag, a wearable, human-shaped sleeping bag. Everyone knows that the worst thing about a sleeping bag is having to leave its comfort once you’re awake, but it took the genius of Alonso to ask “why leave?” The only problem was that the original Selk’bags didn’t have the fun licensed characters of our favorite childhood sleeping bags and looked like boring old snowsuits. Not anymore.

The latest Selk’bags come from a galaxy far, far away and take the familiar form of Darth Vader, Chewbacca, a Rebel Pilot, and a Stormtrooper. Each suit, available in both kids and adult sizes, features a soft polyester shell with DWR (durable water resistant) finish that is both comfortable and water-resistant; an insulated hood for added warmth; removable booties reinforced with durable nylon; and a convenient carry sack for compact portability.

Get them now from Selk’bag for $109 for adult sizes and $89 for kids.
