Bud Light’s New Beer Glasses Light Up After Touchdowns

The New England Patriots face the Kansas City Chiefs at Gillette Stadium for the NFL season opener on Thursday night and beer drinkers in the stands are in for quite a surprise. Every time the Patriots score a touch down, a radio signal will activate lights in special Bud Light beer glasses.

If you’re not a loudmouth jackass Pats fan, don’t worry, Bud Light has got you covered, too. Aside from the 65,000 (!) glasses being handed out at tonight’s game, Bud Light is also selling branded glasses for the 49ers, Broncos, Colts, Giants, Jets and Raiders and a generic “NFL” glass for other teams that will light up when the teams score via Bluetooth when used with a special smartphone app.

The glasses are available now from Bud Light for $18.
