NAVY Football Unveils Blue Angels-Inspired Uniforms For 118th Army-Navy Game

On December 9, the Navy Midshipmen of the United States Naval Academy will face the Army Black Knights of the United States Military Academy for the 118th annual Army-Navy Game.

Last year, Army won, ending Navy’s 14-year winning streak, the longest in the game’s history, but this year Navy is ready to take back the bragging rights — and look good doing it!

Navy has teamed with Under Armour on Blue Angels-inspired uniforms for the 2017 Army-Navy Game and they look totally badass:

The awesome uniforms include numerous nods to the Navy’s famed flight demonstration squadron, including US flags on the left sleeves matching the flight suits worn in the cockpit; a number font inspired by the numbers on the tail of the F/A-18 Hornet aircraft; Blue Angel insignia on the right sleeve — the same design on the F/A-18 Hornet aircraft; an exact color match to the Blue Angels flight suit; and stripe dimensions on the pants that are an exact match to the flight suit.

Oh yeah, and the hand-painted helmets depict a Delta Formation and feature a chrome facemask to mimic the visor worn by Blue Angels pilots.
