When New Jersey put in a requirement that all people entering grocery stores must wear masks I started scrambling to find a mask online. The prices are clearly gouged to astronomical levels, $22.00 for a single mask? That is criminal. And even if money wasn't an option there aren't even any masks to go around. There a guides to making them online which I did for a few days, it looked terrible but then it dawned on me... "I own a clothing brand!" Could I produce a high quality face mack with a fun print, and do it so cheap that we could practically give them away or at least provide them to people at cost? It almost felt like a civic duty. After talking to a few vendors I figured out a solution and RSVLTS Face Masks are here. These are high quality tight knit cotton masks, a level of which that is recommended for daily use by the CDC, made in part using excess fabric from our factory. These are not surgical or N95 masks for doctors but according to CDC guidelines these will help protect you when going about your daily life. It's out goal to get as many out to the world as possible to put an end to the price gouging.
If wearing a mask in public is the new normal than you might as well wear a fun RSVLTS design.
CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies), especially in areas of significant community-based transmission.
