Fall is settling in at Camp Kunu.
As Springy’s Carnival concludes its scheduled engagement, camp leadership is pleased to announce a full calendar of autumn activities, made possible through the continued generosity of Resto Chemicals.We’re also encouraged by recent progress in accounting for our counseling staff. A small number of outstanding matters remain under review, but preparations for this year’s Fall Harvest are proceeding as planned. We appreciate your patience as returning personnel are evaluated and assigned appropriate responsibilities. Our priority remains bringing the Camp Kunu community together. This season, Resto Chemicals is helping us do exactly that.
The Heartwood Harvest HayrideRediscover the natural beauty of camp aboard our newly refurbished harvest wagons. This guided evening excursion features colorful foliage, familiar trails, and a seasonal lighting installation surrounding our beloved Heartwood Oak.
Resto’s technical team has worked closely with camp staff to bring a little extra energy to this year’s experience. Guests may notice a gentle hum or occasional interference with personal radios along the route. These observations have been documented and do not require additional reporting. Please remain seated until your wagon reaches its designated unloading area. Staff stationed beyond the illuminated trail are supporting separate operations and will not be available for questions.
Resto’s Great Pumpkin RoundupA little fresh air. A little friendly competition. A chance to bring home something special.Campers and families are invited to explore Resto’s sponsored pumpkin patch, where this year’s crop has benefited from the company’s latest agricultural development initiatives. Participants will receive a numbered tag and collection instructions upon arrival.
Please select pumpkins only from marked rows. Unmarked areas remain part of an ongoing assessment, and their contents should not be moved, opened, or brought back to the cabins. If moved, Resto Corp and it’s affiliates will not be held accountable for any subsequent health issues the picker should endure. Our counselors will be on hand to keep everyone moving in the right direction. We’re delighted to see so many of them returning to active roles within the camp community.
The Famous Harvest Fest FeastThe highlight of the season returns with long tables, hearty autumn favorites, seasonal desserts, and the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces. This year’s feast is proudly presented by Resto Chemicals, whose support extends from the dining pavilion’s upgraded electrical service to the refreshments at your table. Guests can also enjoy one final serving of the carnival’s popular Kinetic cotton candy (not to be confused with Zappe’s Static Charged Cotton Candy), courtesy of our partners in organic innovation.
To support an orderly dining experience, seating will be assigned and service will begin upon the designated signal. If your counselor appears occupied, please allow them time to complete their current instruction before requesting assistance. We’re looking forward to a lively evening with plenty of heart.
