Attention Campers: A Toast to High Treason

"The pattern writ, your style affected, the key in RSVLTS undetected, hidden clues in iron pen, Mr. Cage can't offend."

Greetings, Campers!

We hope your summer at Camp Kunu is off to a legendary start. As we prepare to celebrate America's 250th birthday, we thought we'd kick things off with a little history lesson.

You see, a few weeks ago, one of our counselors was rummaging through a dusty storage locker beneath the Mess Hall, where, hidden behind decades of camp records, expired bug spray, and what appeared to be Counselor Scooter's long-lost cargo shorts, was an old wooden chest.

Inside was a collection of strange artifacts: weathered maps, a few old doubloons with skulls on them, handwritten notes, and most importantly... a replica of the Declaration of Independence.

At first glance, it seemed ordinary. But as some of our more curious campers began studying it, they noticed something strange. On the back were a series of symbols and illustrations eerily similar to the markings rumored to have appeared on the reverse side of the original Declaration itself. Naturally, we thought it was just another camp prank. Until we flipped it over.

Using a cipher nearly identical to the one made famous by America's greatest treasure hunter, Benjamin Gates, hidden messages began revealing themselves. Coordinates. Symbols. Warnings. References to locations around Camp Kunu that shouldn't exist. At least not on the back of the Declaration of Independence.

The clues all seemed to point toward something outside the grounds. A treasure? Maybe. But this seemed a bit stranger, more like a warning. The coded messages eventually changed tone. What began as directions became ominous, dare we say alarming. While no camper, counselor, or Camp Kunu historian has hard proof, the campsite has always been rumored to be a beacon for some very interesting characters, especially when the leaves start to turn.

What we do know is that the evidence collected from this mystery has been preserved on a brand-new Camp Kunu release. What Benjamin Gates discovered on the back of the sister Declaration was groundbreaking: The Secret lies with Charlotte. The Meerschaum Pipe. The legend writ, the stain affected, the key in Silence undetected, fifty-five in iron pen, Mr. Matlack can't offend. The Silence Dogood Letters. Heere at the Wall. Beneath Parkington Lane. All brilliant codes and ciphers that Gates was able to crack, but it looks like this version has more…

Our annual 250th Anniversary Celebration Shirt features artwork inspired by the nation's founding, but hidden throughout the pattern are the mysterious symbols, sketches, and markings allegedly discovered on the back of the Declaration itself. And if you look closely enough, you may even uncover fragments of the same cipher that appears throughout the recovered documents.

Some campers believe the code points directly to Camp Kunu. Others believe it points to something darker. Something that could change the land of the free to the land of horror. Either way, we need you to spring into action.

Like all great Camp Kunu mysteries, this release will be available for a limited time. Consider this your official DASH. For a limited window, campers can redeem this exclusive limited-edition shirt for 6,500 Camp Kunu points. Once the trail goes cold, it may disappear back into the archives forever.

So keep your eyes open, your cipher wheel handy, and if you happen to uncover the next clue... maybe don't read it out loud.

The secrets of Camp Kunu have only just begun to reveal themselves.
