Growing up, one of my favorite movies was Major League. It’s one of those movies that if you stumble across it while flipping channels on TV, you are going to stop, watch it, and enjoy every second, no matter what part it’s on. It really is the quintessential 80's baseball movie, and it still holds up today, better than ever.
As you may (or may not) know, RSVLTS in on a never-ending quest to turn nostalgic pop culture references into high-quality, conversation starting apparel. We’ve been lucky enough to partner up with the good folks behind The Sandlot, Rocky, Bob Ross and more, so when the opportunity came to collaborate with Paramount Pictures to pump some life into the Major League franchise, we had to pounce.
Our timing was great on this too. 2019 is the 30th anniversary of the movie… time flies. To make things even more epic, the 2019 MLB All-Star Game is being held at Progressive Field in Cleveland. On top of creating some game-changing apparel and designs centered around Rick “Wild Thing” Vaughn, Jobu and all things Major League, we will also look to take over the All-Star Game in a similar fashion to what we did this year in Washington, D.C. with The Sandlot themed ‘Great Hambino' stunt.
