Fall has taken hold and the summer has disappeared quicker than the Giants & Jets hopes of salvaging the season. We’re beyond pumped to peel back the curtain on something that will be a new mainstay in your wardrobe. There’s three definitely in this life: Death, Taxes and getting a brand new round of BorlandFlex Flannels every October.
After each flannel release, we head back to the lab and focus on keeping you all warm and looking sharp. Following last year's collection, our team has been working feverishly to make the necessary tweaks to take these babies to the next level, without changing the overall fit and feel. We’re pleased to announce that we heard your feedback loud and clear. One big pain point over the last few years was a boxy overhang or bunching that occurred around the back shoulders. Our main focus this year was to make the necessary changes to keep the fit virtually untouched while reshaping the armhole to give a true curve to the shoulder.
To correct this, we reshaped the shoulder to reduce the bunching giving it a more natural look. The main thing to remember is the material on these flannels hasn’t changed, it still has the same two-way stretch and soft-to-the-touch feel. We’re constantly fine-tuning our pieces based on your feedback, and we truly think our latest tweaks haven given us the best fit yet. The new class are still sharp enough to wear on their own, but light enough to layer with your favorite performance hoodie!
