Back in 2023, Steve and I set out to challenge ourselves, really push past our comfort zone. We’d just come off a strong season with our shirt jackets, but we couldn’t shake the question, what if we built something heavier, tougher, and more technical, yet still unmistakably us?
What started as a small passion project quickly turned into a full blown obsession. By 2024, our first tester jacket was born, a piece that looked ready for anything. But we knew we couldn’t stop there. Since we’d never made a true cold weather jacket, we sold prototypes and sent them out across the country to get real world feedback from customers facing every kind of weather.
The response was incredible. After a few tweaks and refinements, we were ready to bring it to life on the production line.
At first glance, this lifestyle parka might look simple, but every inch of it was built with purpose, with everything we wanted, nothing we didn’t. The kunu quilted liner gave it warmth and personality. The removable hood with hidden collar buttons made it adaptable for any setting. And the upper side pocket, a nod to our love of peacoats, added both style and practicality, perfect for stashing essentials without crowding your main pockets, especially when you’re geared up in gloves.
We made something for us. And that was the mission, but this jacket deserves to be shared with the world and if mass market reception goes well then thats just the beginning of a whole new world of outerwear for us.

After our in the Wild test last year, people were able to get their hands on the parka, test it out and provide us with their feedback. From that feedback, we were able to make tweaks we think make this parka winter ready.

New Changes from tester Include:
- Moved zipper to right-hand side
- Trimmed bottom of zipper placket for easier handling
- Reshaped shoulder for improved shape
The shoulder cap difference is pretty minimal, but a small reshape of the sleeve cap gives the jacket a more balanced look.
