As e erotically charged a scene as this may have been for 1951 movie audiences, it's important to remember that pasta is not good for dogs.
At most, you should allow them maybe one or two cooked noodles a week, but never any sauce. But this is a movie, where the dogs also talk, so some suspension of disbelief is required.
Though, IMO, a trip to the vet is never a Bella Notte!
